Netball at Holland Park

On Wednesday 28th November eight year 6s went to a netball tournament at Holland Park. We all played exceptionally well in defence and attack. We all encouraged our team mates throughout our matches. Overall, we played five matches. Our first match was against Knightsbridge and we won 6-0. The player of the match for that game was me however I believe everyone else also played well. Secondly, we played Notting Hill Prep and we won 4-1, in this match Maya was player of the match. Our third match was against Queen’s Gate and we won 4-1 and I received player of the match, however Shimerin and Jeanne also defended extremely well. Fourthly, we played Pembridge Hall and we lost 4-2, player of the match for this game was also Maya. Lastly, we played Bute House and we lost 4-3, player of the match was Alexandra.

In total we came third in our group. In some of our matches we played year 7 and year 8, however we were resilient and won even though our opposition was older.
