French Shopping Skills in Haricotville

On Friday 8th February, Y3 went to the Europa Centre. We were split into groups and went into shops where we pretended to buy things, such as food, medicines and clothes.
We all had a lot of fun doing all these activities. “

“We got to go to a café and bought real food. I bought a pain au chocolat. At the end, the French people performed a puppet show. It was good fun”. Krishna (Y3)

“On Friday we went to a pretend French city at Upminster Bridge. We visited a pharmacy and a bakery. We were allowed to buy things in a café and watched the story of Guignol, the French Punch. Then we walked to the train station and jumped on the tube to go back to school.”
