Davenport Cup Bridge Competition

We are very proud of Maya (Y6) and her sister Maddie (old Glendowerite, now Year 7 St Paul’s Girls’ School) for participating in the Davenport Cup on Saturday. This is the first time that Glendower has been represented in a bridge competition. Both girls started learning bridge at Glendower at the start of Year 5 and have become excellent players. They were the top girls’ team and 3rd overall out of 22 teams (3rd best win ratio). Hopefully this will inspire more girls to join the Glendower bridge club in September.
