Warm Socks Campaign

On Friday 16th November, we visited the SMART London Community Centre. This is a local charity centre that provides support for the elderly, less fortunate and homeless in the Kensington & Chelsea area.

Over the last 2 weeks, Glendower had been collecting warm winter socks to support the Community Champions SOS campaign; Soup, Oranges and Socks. We arrived at the centre and met up with Marsha. She was astounded by our delivery. A special thank you to the anonymous parent and girl who carefully wrapped over 20 pairs of socks in Christmas paper. We are very proud to announce that we collected over 200 pairs of socks (we stopped counting). Thank you to everyone who donated towards the campaign.
