Karl Hopwood, an online safety consultant visited Glendower on 2nd May to talk about e-safety. He spoke in an assembly and ran sessions with the girls, staff and parents. Girls in the Upper School thoroughly enjoyed their e-safety sessions. We had some very interesting age appropriate discussions on various aspects of e-safety such as social networking, cyber-bullying, digital footprint and the dangers of posting pictures online.
The girls watched videos, listened to stories and learnt if something worries them online to save the message, tell an adult they trust and not to retaliate. A very informative day.
