Year 2 History

As part of their History curriculum, this week Year Two learned about the Wright brothers. The girls watched footage from early flight attempts, discussed the similarities and differences between planes then and now, and thought about what a plane needs in order to fly. They then used a growth mindset, like that of Orville and Wilbur Wright, to create a glider out of recycling. Much excitement was had watching their creations glide (or catapult) from the balcony!
