I am filled with immense pride in the achievements of our Y6 girls who have had the most outstanding set of 11+ results. Despite the fact that it is a slightly smaller cohort than in the previous few years, they have achieved the highest percentage of places at certain senior schools that we have ever had and have notched up our highest tally of individual scholarship and awards since our records go back – which is 25 years ago to 1994 (please see pages 2 & 3 for a full list of offers and awards) – well done, Y6!

I am equally proud of the fact that their results show the year group to be genuine all-rounders with many extra-curricular awards won alongside a significant number of academic scholarships. Preparation for the 11+ at Glendower has never been more streamlined and the knowledge and experience of our staff has played a significant role in supporting the Y6 girls to fulfil their potential. Our specialist scholarship preparation has resulted in art, music and sports awards this year which is truly impressive as competition is even more fierce for these much sought after specialist scholarships.

Finally, I would like to thank all our staff from Reception upwards for the hard work, dedication and commitment that they give each day to bring the most wonderful learning experiences to the girls. Our 11+ results are very much a team effort and the girls, parents and staff should all be very proud of what they have collectively achieved.
