Friendly Gala

On Friday 28th September, Glendower went to Bute House to compete in a friendly gala. Many people went, which included some who had never
been in a swimming gala against another school before. This was first time for the Year 6 girls to compete in 50m races, these were done in every stroke apart from fly. It was a pity Glendower parents could not have come along to cheer us on, but all the girls swam very well and should be very proud of themselves.

The following week, Friday 5th October, 46 girls went to Latymer to compete against Latymer Prep and Pembridge Hall. For all the Year 3 girls that
participated it was their first ever gala and they did very well with 38 individual swimmers all achieving new personal best times, as well as some in the relay times.

This time lots of parents came to support and created an exciting atmosphere. These were the points for scores.
