Spring Music Recital Triumph

Our Upper School Spring Music Recital was as one parent kindly wrote to tell me, ‘a triumph’ and I don’t think that I could have summed it up better myself. St Mary, the Boltons, is a very special setting and we are grateful to Revd. Jenny Welsh for allowing us to hold several events there each year. Mrs Marley created a programme for the recital which showcased Glendower’s musical excellence in the best
possible light.

We had some excellent solos and duets as well as musical renditions from our trumpet ensemble, the school orchestra and the woodwind group and vocal performances from both Senior and Junior Choirs as well as our burgeoning Chamber Choir. Thanks must go to Mr Marley (trumpet) and Mrs Anderson (woodwind) for their support in preparing the girls for the concert. I would like especially to congratulate the following girls for their fantastic performances:

Finally, many thanks to all the staff who came to support the girls at the recital and especially to Mrs Marley for coordinating such a wonderful evening. Well done, everybody!
