The Museum of London Trip

On Monday 21st June, Year 3 enjoyed visiting the Museum of London. We had a workshop where we watched a shadow puppet theatre show and we were able to touch and hold some artefacts from prehistoric times. In the gallery, we saw a mammoth’s tooth, flint hand axes and some pairs of antlers. Most of the items had been found in the River Thames and were very well preserved.

We were very surprised when we found out that elephants used to live in prehistoric Britain, but this was a long time after the dinosaurs.
