Winning at The Heathfield Swimming Gala

On the 14th March, Glendower participated in The Heathfield Swim Gala. After swimming the individual races, we found out that we all made the individual race finals. We swam even quicker in the finals and all did very well.

Next came the Medley races and the Front Crawl relays. Last up was a squadron race, which consisted of two year 4s and two year 5s. After the races, we were all called to the entrance hall where we got a goody bag and some snacks. The results were announced, the year 4 team came in 2nd place and the year 5 came in 1st. Overall results came in with Glendower coming in joint 1st place with Bishopsgate. We first want to say a special thank you to Miss Laporte and Miss Pennick for taking us there and arranging it. Also, a very well done to Amelie and Veronica who now hold the record time for 25metres Butterfly in their year groups.
