The School Council allows our girls to examine and discuss certain aspects of school life in a group, under the supervision of a teacher. It helps prepare girls for adulthood through involvement in a democratic process as well as making an important contribution to school life. Girls are nominated and two girls from each form in Years 2 to 6 are elected onto the Council to represent their peers.
The School Council has implemented a number of initiatives. The girls thoroughly enjoy being a member of the School Council and take pride in attending weekly meetings and having the opportunity to speak in School Assemblies.
Each term the School Council nominates a particular charity to support and devises creative ways to raise money for these worthwhile causes.
